I founded MGoMom as I know it can be incredibly difficult to be far away, from family, in good times, and in trying times. My mission is simple: to provide peace of mind for parents and compassionate, reliable support for students. I'm here to be your trusted presence in Ann Arbor, ensuring your child feels cared for, even from a distance.

A Story of Global Moves and Local Roots

My name is Marybeth, and for nearly 20 years, I was the one who was far away. I managed our family's moves across the globe—to China, Brazil, Mexico, and South Africa. I learned firsthand how to navigate birthdays from different time zones and how to handle an illness when your support system is on the other side of the world.

Now, as a long-time Michigan native, an Ann Arbor local, and a proud Wolverine-mom myself, I'm combining my global experience with my local knowledge. This unique understanding of logistical challenges and the stress of worrying from afar is the heart of MGoMom.

Beyond being a mom, step-mom, and dog-mom, I'm a sports fanatic, a photographer, and a Master Gardener. This work brings me joy—connecting with families, comforting students, and ensuring someone they trust is always close by.
